What’s closed on April 14, 2025?
Being declared a national holiday by the central government, many services and institutions will remain closed, including:

- Courts and public sector units (PSUs)
- Government-run schools and colleges
- Stock markets (NSE and BSE)
According to the Reserve Bank of India, banks will be closed in most states, including Tripura, West Bengal, J&K, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Gujarat, Karnataka, Kerala, Maharashtra, Telangana, Uttar Pradesh, and Assam.
