Virat Kohli equals ODI catches record for India in Champions Trophy clash vs Bangladesh

NEW DELHI: Virat Kohli on Thursday reached a significant milestone in One-day Internationals, equalling Mohammad Azharuddin’s record for most catches for India during the Champions Trophy clash against Bangladesh in Dubai.
The record-equalling moment for Kohli came in the 43rd over when he caught Jaker Ali’s top-edge off Mohammed Shami’s bowling at long-on.
The catch marked his 156th in the format.
Kohli and Azharuddin now share the top spot for India, ahead of Sachin Tendulkar (140), Rahul Dravid (124), and Suresh Raina (102).
