Fortunately, the accident did not result in any injuries. However, two cars in the convoy sustained minor damage. Ganguly was briefly delayed for about 10 minutes before continuing his journey to Burdwan University, where he was scheduled to attend a function.
Despite the unsettling experience, Ganguly maintained his composure and fulfilled all his commitments in Burdwan as planned.
At the university event, he engaged with students and dignitaries, discussing the future of Indian cricket and sharing memorable experiences from his illustrious career. Later, he also attended an event organised by the Burdwan Sports Association.
Known for his leadership and calm demeanor both on and off the field, Ganguly handled the situation with poise, ensuring that the minor mishap did not disrupt his professional engagements.
