Sheeba Akashdeep reveals why she broke up with Akshay Kumar after being in a relationship: 'I don't even talk about it...'
Actress Sheeba Akashdeep confirmed her past relationship with Akshay Kumar, detailing how their shared interest in fitness and family ties led to their bond in the ’90s. She indicated that their breakup was due to youthful immaturity, and noted that remaining friends with an ex is challenging due to the intensity of young love.

Before marrying Twinkle Khanna in 2001, Akshay Kumar was rumored to have dated actress Sheeba Akashdeep. Sheeba recently confirmed their past relationship, sharing how their bond grew over shared interests.
In an interview with Pinkvilla, Sheeba admitted that during their younger days, working closely with someone often leads to feelings developing, hinting at her past connection with Akshay Kumar in the ’90s.

When asked about their immediate bond, Sheeba explained that both she and Akshay shared a passion for fitness and were family friends. She mentioned that their grandmothers would play cards together, adding to their natural connection.

The actress also explained that the reason for their breakup was due to their immaturity at the time, saying it was something she doesn’t even think about anymore. She added that after three decades, there’s nothing worth discussing or remembering about that phase.
When asked if it’s possible to remain friends with an ex, Sheeba Akashdeep explained that young love is intense and emotional, making it hard to stay normal afterward. She said that the passion of young love is like an explosion, and once it fades, friendship can’t survive.

Sheeba Akashdeep concluded by saying that most people are too emotionally invested in relationships to remain friends afterward, unless they are truly mature. She emphasized that it’s difficult to just become normal and casually talk about things like the weather after such an intense bond.
Sheeba Akashdeep married filmmaker Akashdeep in 1996, while Akshay Kumar wed Twinkle Khanna in 2001. On the professional front, Sheeba’s most recent appearance was in the film Jigra.
