Rashami Desai recalls not talking to Sidharth Shukla for 9 months: 'It had just gotten very bitter'

Rashami Desai recently opened up about the late actor, Sidharth Shukla, revealing how they didn’t get along while they worked on Dil Se Dil Tak.
In conversation with Bharti Singh on her podcast, Rashami shared her experience working with Siddharth Shukla, mentioning that their time on Bigg Boss was marked by intense disagreements. They had a difficult history, leading to a bitter phase where they didn’t speak to each other for about nine months. However, she emphasized that despite their personal differences, they remained professional while working together.

In the same conversation, Rashami Desai reflected on her bittersweet equation with Sidharth Shukla during their appearance on Bigg Boss 13. She revealed that 2018 was not a good phase for her, and Siddharth knew about her struggles. Recalling an anecdote from the family week of Bigg Boss 13, she shared:

The actress also spoke fondly of Siddharth, describing him as a wonderful and knowledgeable co-actor with a good heart. Reflecting on the tough phase she went through in 2018, she shared that Siddharth was aware of her struggles. During Bigg Boss, there was a moment when he quietly offered her water during the family week, and their unspoken understanding was something she deeply respected.

Rashami further shared how much Siddharth Shukla loved kids, recalling how he would play with her niece when she visited the set. Despite their differences, she mentioned that she never stopped him from interacting with her family, highlighting the warmth he showed toward her niece.
Desai opened up about the difficult phase she went through during Bigg Boss 13. She acknowledged the professional and personal issues she had with Sidharth Shukla, which she never discussed then and doesn’t feel the need to now. Rashami emphasized that just because they didn’t get along, it didn’t mean Sidharth was a bad person. She added that there was a time in her life when she felt helpless.
