Vatsal Sheth confirms Ishita Dutta’s second pregnancy: ‘A very, very happy surprise’

Actors Vatsal Sheth and Ishita Dutta are set to welcome their second child, adding another joyful chapter to their journey as parents. The couple, who tied the knot in 2017, are already parents to a 19-month-old son, Vayu.
In a recent interview with Hindustan Times, Vatsal confirmed the pregnancy, expressing his excitement over the unexpected yet delightful news. “It came as a surprise, a very, very happy surprise. When Ishita told me about the pregnancy, I was like, ‘Oh! Wow,’” he recalled, admitting that it took a moment for the news to truly register.
The actor further shared a heartwarming moment from when Ishita broke the news to him. She walked into their room on a particularly challenging day when their son was cranky and revealed that their family was about to grow. The couple took some time to absorb the news before deciding to share it with the world. Their second child is due in July.
Discussing their parenting approach, Vatsal mentioned that they are preparing for the changes that come with a second baby. “As a father, I will take care of my son and my wife, who needs special attention,” he shared, adding that once the baby arrives, he will be more focused on Vayu while Ishita cares for the newborn.
For now, the couple is balancing their professional commitments, with Ishita wrapping up a film and Vatsal managing his endorsements. They have divided responsibilities, with Vatsal taking charge of Vayu’s daily routine while Ishita fulfills her work commitments. The couple is embracing the journey of parenthood once again, looking forward to welcoming their newest family member.
Meanwhile, recently Vatsal Sheth shared a heartwarming snap with his wifey and penned a note that read, ““9 years of knowing you, 8 years of loving you, 1 little love we created… and soon, our hearts will grow again. Ek Valentine post toh banta hai @vatsalsheth.”
