IIM-C wins NTPC Electron Quiz 2025

NEW DELHI: IIM-Calcutta walked away with the winner’s award as well as the second runner-up prize in NTPC Electron Quiz-2025, while FMS-Delhi was the first runner-up, as the month-long quizzing carnival concluded on Feb 28.
The champion team of Piyus Kedia and Amartya Saha showcased exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, taking home a cash prize of Rs 50,000. The first runner-up team comprising Ankita Shandilya and Shashank Tyagi received a cheque of Rs 30,000, while the second runner-up team of Komal Vasudeva and Araya Arun received Rs 20,000. More than 700 teams participated in this annual quiz fest held across nine locations – Ranchi, Patna, Lucknow, Raipur, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata and Noida.
After nine regional and three semifinal rounds, six teams qualified for the grand finale, held at NTPC Power Management Institute in Noida. NTPC’s director (HR), Anil Kumar Jadli, congratulated all the participants for their exceptional display of critical thinking and competitive spirit. NTPC Electron Quiz has been nurturing young talents and cultivating a platform for knowledge sharing for the last two decades, he said.
