‘Chhaava’ box office collection Day 7: Vicky Kaushal's historical drama crosses Rs. 200 crore mark in its first week

Vicky Khaushal’s latest release, ‘Chaava,’ had the biggest opening of his career and of 2025 so far! After a successful seven-day run, the movie has an impressive net collection of Rs. 219.75 crore in India.
The movie, headlined by Vicky Kaushal, has Ashutosh Rana, Rashmika Mandanna, Viineet Kumar Singh, and more in pivotal roles. This story chronicles the valorous life of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, the second Maratha warrior, who continued on the path set by his father the great Chattrapati Shivaji Maharaj. The film only saw a great opening day but the weekend did witness a few lows during its one-week run. For instance, on its first Monday, there was a dip of more than 50 percent, as the collection came down from Rs.48.5 crore to Rs.24 crore, according to Sacnilk report. Similarly, on its first Thursday as well, the early estimates show that the business was slow. On Wednesday, the collection stood at Rs 32 crore, and on Thursday, it made Rs. 22 crore.
