Bhumi Pednekar recalls falling on stage in UP in front of 30,000 people while hosting with Ayushmanna Khurrana: 'Mere liye woh comedy bilkul nahi tha...'

Bhumi Pednekar, who is currently promoting her upcoming film, ‘Mere Husband Ki Biwi‘, recently opened up about the time when she fell on stage in UP in front of a crowd of about 30, 000 people.
Recalling the stage mishap, Bhumi told Bollywood Bubble that during her first live performance while hosting with Ayushmann Khurrana for Dum Laga Ke Haisha, she had to interact with Saif Ali Khan for the song Ole Ole. With a massive crowd of around 25,000-30,000 people in UP, she performed but lost her balance and fell by the fourth Ole. While the audience laughed, it wasn’t funny for her at the time—though she now sees the humor in it.

In an exclusive interview with ETimes, the actress admitted to being very forgetful in real life. She shared that she forgets things every five minutes and often loses track of what she was supposed to say. Describing herself as a “mess,” she acknowledged that forgetfulness is a frequent challenge for her.

Director Mudassar Aziz playfully agreed with Bhumi, joking that they used “method casting” for her role instead of method acting. He admitted that she is indeed very forgetful. As phone buddies, they often have long conversations, but after 15 minutes, she sometimes forgets what she was talking about, adding to the humour.
