Nita Ambani, the chairperson of Reliance Foundation, has always been known for her impeccable taste and sophisticated style. The Parsi Gara saree, known for its intricate hand-embroidered floral motifs, holds a special place in Indian fashion history. Nita Ambani’s choice to wear this timeless piece of heritage was a nod to the beauty of Indian craftsmanship, and the saree itself was revived by Zenobia S. Davar, a renowned saree revivalist. In stunning shades of red and blue, the saree’s embroidery was detailed and delicate, each thread telling a story of artistry passed down through generations. The delicate floral patterns, which are a signature of Parsi Gara embroidery, adorned the fabric, adding depth and texture to the ensemble.
To complement the grandeur of the saree, Nita chose a specially stylised blouse, designed by the celebrated designer duo, Manish Malhotra. The blouse added a contemporary touch to the ensemble, seamlessly blending with the cultural richness of the saree while maintaining a modern and chic silhouette. In his Instagram post, Manish Malhotra expressed the joy of conceptualising such a beautiful ensemble, highlighting the precious moments spent discussing handlooms and archival embroideries with Nita Ambani.
Her jewellery was equally stunning, featuring an exquisite set of diamond earrings, a triple-string pearl necklace, a pearl and diamond bracelet, and a statement ring. Each piece was carefully selected to enhance the grace of the saree, adding a layer of sophistication and luxury to the overall look. Nita’s soft waves hairstyle and flawless makeup, which included dark brows, a blue bindi, and a subtle pink lip, further accentuated her elegance. The glowing highlighter and blush on her cheeks gave her a radiant finish, making her look every bit the epitome of grace and refinement.

This appearance is yet another example of Nita Ambani’s exceptional ability to blend heritage with haute couture, making the Parsi Gara saree not only a tribute to India’s rich craftsmanship but also a symbol of how timeless pieces can be embraced in the modern world. Nita’s sartorial choices continue to inspire, with each outfit telling a unique story of culture, heritage, and fashion.
