The finale of the second season of ISPL was a star-studded affair. Celebrities from different fields came together for this sporting event. Some of the prominent personalities who graced the event with their presence included Akshay Kumar, Amitabh Bachchan, and Sachin Tendulkar, among others. Next, he has Priyadarshan’s ‘Bhooth Bangla,’ which will also star Tabu and Paresh Rawal. It is scheduled for release on April 2, 2026. Further, in the same movie, Wamiqa Gabbi is rumoured to play a significant role. Details regarded the same are yet to be released.
In addition to it, Akshay has ‘Kesari Chapter 2-The Untold Story of Jallianwala Bagh’ in his kitty. The movie also features R Madhavan and Ananya Panday. Based on the life of India’s top barrister, C Sankaran Nair, the movie is scheduled to hit the big screens on April 18, 2025. Directed by Karan Singh Tyagi, the movie will show how C Sankaran Nair fought against the British Raj to find the real truth behind the Jallianwala Bagh massacre.
On the other hand, Amitabh Bachchan is currently busy hosting the popular TV quiz show. His last cinematic outing was ‘Vettiyan.’
