Aadar Jain, one of the members of the Kapoor clan has sparked outrage on social media after he called his past relationships as ‘Time Pass’ – one of them being the internet’s favourite, Tara Sutaria.
Previously, Aadar Jain and Alekha Advani’s proposal in the lavish backdrop of Maldives caused the netizens to react bitterly, questioning his long-term relationship with the Bollywood actress. However, his speech during the Mehendi ceremony, one of the pre-wedding events, had netizens raise their eyebrows.
In the viral video of the ceremony, featuring many known faces, Aadar referred to his past relationships as ‘Time Pass’, stating that he was waiting for her all this time, “I have always loved her since then, and I have always wanted to be with her but never got a chance to be with her. So she sent me on this long journey of 20 years as time pass. But at the end of the day it was worth the wait because I get to marry this beautiful, beautiful woman, who looks like a dream.”
While the statement seemed romantic for a few, others criticised him on his intentions, and suggested that Tara ‘dogged a bullet.’ One user commented, ‘So basically, he was with Tara just to kill time till Alekha was ready? Yikes.’ Another user said that they can’t wait for Tara’s comeback with a better man.
Tagging him as a red flag, one user said that it was disrespectful to even compare his past relationships, let alone refer to them as ‘time pass’ for years.
Another user commented, ‘If my to-be husband spoke about his past escapades during one of our wedding ceremonies, I’d be out of there so fast. It’s so disrespectful.’
