Salman Khan and Hrithik Roshan team up for action-packed ad, Fans demand 'Tiger X Kabir' Spy Universe crossover

Salman Khan and Hrithik Roshan are the duo Bollywood fans never knew they needed until a new ad that dropped online, unlocked their electrifying on-screen chemistry.
The actors, who play super spies in the YRF franchises ‘Tiger’ and ‘WAR’, joined forces for a high-octane advertisement, directed by Ali Abbas Zafar. The team-up marked their first-ever on-screen collaboration sending fans into a frenzy, and igniting hopes for a much-anticipated crossover in the Spy Universe.
Salman took to Instagram to share the ad for a beverage, which features him and Hrithik in on a rescue mission. The adrenaline-pumping sequence was a visual treat for fans, who took to the comments section to demand a feature film with the two stars. Many called for a crossover film featuring their characters, Tiger and Kabir, from YRF’s Spy Universe. One fan commented, “Tiger and Kabir working on a secret mission behind the scenes,” while another wrote, “It’s been so long since Salman and Hrithik shared the screen. They should do an action movie together!” Another enthusiastic fan remarked, “Even without shooting together, their chemistry is evident—imagine them in a full-fledged action film!”
One even asked director Atlee to cast Hrithik opposite Salman in his next. This request comes amidst various reports that the director is looking for a south superstar to cast alongside Salman in the double-hero film.
Although the two actors have never shared screen space before, Hrithik worked as an assistant director in the 1995 film Karan Arjun, which starred Salman alongside Shah Rukh Khan and was directed by Rakesh Roshan.
On the work front, Salman Khan is gearing up for his next release, director AR Murugadoss’ Sikandar, also starring Rashmika Mandanna. The action entertainer is set to hit theatres on March 28, 2025, coinciding with Eid.
Meanwhile, Hrithik will next be seen in War 2, the highly anticipated spy thriller alongside Jr NTR and Kiara Advani. The film is slated for release on Independence Day 2025.
