Breastfeeding delivers various advantages which support both mother and child health. Research indicates that prolonged breastfeeding amounts to long-term breast cancer probability in women. Breastfeeding lowers estrogen exposure and triggers breast tissue changes which may eliminate damaged cells. Any duration of breastfeeding provides benefits, so women who can, should consider it. Not only that, through breastfeeding, women establish better connections with their babies while simultaneously strengthening their immune system. Though any amount of breastfeeding provides breast cancer risk protection, the protective benefits grow stronger, when breastfeeding continues for extended periods. Of course, breastfeeding is not a choice for a lot of women, (those who are single, childless by choice, or are unable to breastfeed) so they should take care of other aspects in that case.
