The Ayurvedic eating plan consists of light and fresh natural foods, that allow the liver to process them easily.

Eat an abundance of bitter greens including spinach, kale and fenugreek. According to traditional beliefs, bitter foods serve as a cleansing and rejuvenating agent for the liver.

You should avoid consuming oily, fried items, and processed foods since they burden the liver.

Your diet should consist of fresh fruits and vegetables along with whole grains, instead of heavy meats and dairy products.
