The photo quickly went viral, sparking speculation that she was RJ Mahvash. Chahal has been in the news recently following reports of his divorce from choreographer Dhanashree Verma.
Social media was quick to capture a snapshot of the duo from live television, playfully teasing them with comments like “Pakde gayein” (Got Caught) and “Chanchal Chahal” (Playful Chahal). Some even questioned, “Who is she?”

RJ Mahvash had previously dismissed rumors of dating Yuzvendra Chahal. Earlier this year, she made headlines when a picture of her with the cricketer from a Christmas celebration went viral on social media.
RJ Mahvash had posted a note on Instagram that read, “Some articles and speculations have been circulating around the internet. It’s literally funny to see how baseless these rumours are. If you get seen with a person of the opposite gender, does that mean you are dating them? I’m sorry, what year is this? And how many people are you all dating then?”

“I have been patient for 2-3 days now, but I won’t let any PR teams drag my name into this to cover up other people’s images. Let people live in peace with their friends and family during tough times,” RJ Mahvash added.
Yuzvendra Chahal and Dhanashree Verma met during the pandemic when he showed interest in learning dance. Their friendship soon turned into romance, leading to their engagement in August 2020 and marriage in December 2020.

Yuzvendra Chahal’s lawyer, Nitin K Gupta, recently confirmed to Hindustan Times that Chahal and Dhanashree Verma have filed for divorce with mutual consent. The petition was submitted in a Bandra court, Mumbai.
