Yuzvendra Chahal says 'karma never loses' amidst divorce rumours with Dhanashree Verma - Pic inside

Yuzvendra Chahal and Dhanashree Verma are reportedly headed for a divorce. While the couple have not officially confirmed the divorce, their lawyer has confirmed that the matter is sub-judice. The duo had tied the knot in the year 2020. Amidst divorce rumours, Yuzvendra has now dropped a cryptic note with some of his photos.
The cricketer can be seen in a grey overcoat with baggy pants and a t-shirt. He dropped these photos and said, “Karma never loses an address 🧿” Netizens think he must be really hurt to write such captions. A user said, “Real Men After Divorce 🌚💀” Another one said, “Man has been hurt, He never posted like this.”
Yuzvendra’s lawyer Nitin K. Gupta has confirmed that the couple had filed a divorce petition with mutual consent before the Bandra court. He was quoted by Hindustan Times saying, “Mr. Chahal reached a settlement for obtaining Divorce by Mutual Consent with Mrs. Verma. A Petition for Divorce by mutual consent was presented before the Hon’ble Family Court, Bandra. The matter is currently sub-judice. Further steps are being taken as per law in this regard. Mr Chahal and his family respectfully choose not to comment on the details circulating in media and request all to refrain from any kind of speculation.”
Rumours were rife that Dhanashree has demanded an alimony of Rs 60 crore but her family slammed these rumours and issued a clarification. It read, “We are deeply outraged by the baseless claims being circulated about the alimony figure. Let me be absolutely clear—no such amount has ever been asked, demanded, or even offered. There is no truth to these rumors whatsoever. It is deeply irresponsible to publish such unverified information, dragging not just the parties but also their families into unnecessary speculation. Reckless reporting like this only causes harm, and we urge the media to exercise restraint and fact-check before spreading misinformation and also be respectful towards everyone’s privacy.”
