NEW DELHI: Royal Challengers Bengaluru ended their decade-long winless run at the Wankhede Stadium with a thrilling 12-run victory over Mumbai Indians in a high-scoring IPL 2025 clash on Monday. The win was RCB’s first at the iconic venue since 2015.
Batting first, RCB posted an imposing 221/5, riding on brisk half-centuries from captain Rajat Patidar (64 off 32) and Virat Kohli (67 off 42). Jitesh Sharma provided the late flourish with a 19-ball 40, helping RCB finish strong.

MI stayed in the hunt until the final over, needing 19 runs, but Krunal Pandya (4/45) held his nerve to claim three wickets and seal a famous win for the visitors.
