Florence Pugh has confirmed she is in a relationship weeks after speculation that she’s dating Peaky Blinders actor Finn Cole.
In a recent interview with British Vogue, Pugh, who stars alongside Andrew Garfield in upcoming romantic drama We Live In Time, revealed that she is in love. “I am,” she confirmed. And is she in a relationship? “We are figuring what we actually are,” she said. “And I think for the first time, I’m not allowing myself to go on a roller-coaster. I’m allowing myself to take time to let something evolve and let it be completely real to its core, as opposed to racing into that.”
She added, “Falling is the most amazing feeling, but unfortunately if that’s the only thing that you know in a relationship, then that’s the thing that you chase. That’s not gonna last.”
So, who is the mystery person? Well, the internet is convinced it is actor Finn Cole.
Who is Finn Cole?
Chances are, you’ve seen Cole on your screen before. After getting his start in 2012 with a small role in Offender, the actor went on to appear in An Inspector Calls, Inspector Lewis, Slaughterhouse Rulez, Dreamland and F9: The Fast Saga. His biggest roles to date have been playing Michael Gray, the cousin of the Shelby siblings who eventually becomes a main villain in Peaky Blinders, and Joshua ‘J’ Cody, the main protagonist, in Animal Crossing.
Cole grew up in southwest London and joined the National Youth Theatre as a teen. “I always loved acting,” Cole told NME in 2020. “I always loved realism. I loved the theatre, specifically small audience, real-sets stuff.”
Cole has actually recently returned to his roots with a role in a production of Red Speedo at London’s Orange Tree Theatre.

Are Finn Cole and Florence Pugh dating?
Maybe. In fact, it’s looking pretty likely.
Exhibit A. An anonymous source who spoke to The Sun. According to this source, Pugh and Cole are “secretly dating” and were spotted at an industry premiere of Netflix’s The Perfect Couple. “Florence and Finn appeared to be very much together and they were having a great time,” the source said. “They kept a low profile at the premiere and party, and left out of the back door together and got into the same car. They were there to support friends in the film and seemed keen not to be pictured or seen.”
Another source spoke to the Daily Mail, saying, “I saw them holding hands at the after-party at The Hoxton hotel.”
Exhibit B. Glastonbury. The pair were also spotted at Glasto enjoying the acts together along with other friends.
