India Masters, led by Sachin Tendulkar, won the International Masters League 2025 final against West Indies Masters by six wickets in Raipur on Sunday.

The tension arose when Tino Best attempted to leave the field citing injury concerns after completing his over. Yuvraj Singh raised this with umpire Billy Bowden, who requested Best to return to the field.
Best, visibly upset, confronted Yuvraj Singh, leading to a verbal exchange between the two players.
“He (Tino Best) is someone who doesn’t back down. He is someone who likes to have a chat. Two players who don’t back down. That’s when you get an issue,” commented former England pacer Darren Gough from the commentary box.
Following the confrontation, Yuvraj Singh hit a six and pointed his bat at Best, reminiscent of the 2007 T20 World Cup where he hit six sixes in Stuart Broad’s over after a heated exchange with Andrew Flintoff.
The tension eventually dissipated during the second strategic time-out, with Yuvraj Singh playfully patting Best’s back.
In the match, India Masters successfully chased down the target of 149 runs with 17 balls remaining. Ambati Rayudu played a crucial innings of 74 runs.
West Indies Masters posted 148/7 in their twenty overs, with Lendl Simmons scoring 57 and Dwayne Smith contributing 45 runs.
India Masters’ bowling attack was led by Vinay Kumar, who took three wickets, while Shahbaz Nadeem claimed two dismissals.
Sachin Tendulkar showcased his vintage form with 25 runs off 18 balls, including two fours and one six.
