Chennai Super Kings all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja took advantage of an IPL break to pursue his passion for horse riding at his farm, sharing a video on Instagram. The unexpected pause in the 2025 IPL season, caused by military tensions between India and Pakistan, allowed Jadeja to spend time with his horses before CSK‘s next match against Rajasthan Royals on May 21 in Delhi.The IPL resumed on Saturday, May 17, after the brief interruption. Chennai Super Kings, currently at the bottom of the table with just three wins in 12 games, have a week-long break before their next fixture.Jadeja shared a clip of his horse riding session on Instagram with the caption “After long time #horseriding.”The Indian cricketer had previously discussed his connection with horses in 2020, explaining how his interest developed.Quiz: Who’s that IPL player?“In life, due to cricket practice, I could never spend enough time at my farm house, but I am glad I got the chance in the last few months. I used to go to my friend’s place for riding horses and gradually, I got interested in horses and horse breeding. I bought a few horses in 2010 for my farmhouse and have been enjoying taking care of them. I just breed for myself and don’t intend to sell them,” Jadeja had said.Jadeja maintains a herd of different horses at his farm and makes time to be with them whenever his cricket schedule permits.

Despite CSK’s disappointing performance in IPL 2025, Jadeja has been one of the team’s standout performers, scoring 279 runs with a strike rate of 140.20 and taking eight wickets.Chennai Super Kings have struggled this season, managing only three victories in their 12 matches played so far.
