After it was given not out by the on-field umpire, captain Axar Patel decided to challenge the decision. The Gujarat Titans opener was saved by the umpire’s call on impact, which remained not out. As soon as Kuldeep saw the decision on the big screen, he was livid. He expressed his frustration and confronted umpire Keyur Kelkar.Kuldeep’s face turned red with anger, and he was later calmed down by his teammates Axar Patel and Faf du Plessis.Sai Sudharsan went on to score an unbeaten century and forged a 205-run opening wicket partnership with captain Shubman Gill as the Titans defeated the Capitals by 10 wickets. Kuldeep went wicketless in his four overs, conceding 37 runs.Who’s that IPL player? With Gujarat Titans, Royal Challengers Bengaluru, and Punjab Kings entering the playoffs, Delhi Capitals’ chances of qualifying are now hanging by a slim thread. With this win, GT have made it to the playoffs with nine wins and three losses, giving them 18 points. Sai Sudharsan Exclusive Interview: ‘The dream is to play Test cricket’

“I thought the wicket got better as the game progressed,” captain Axar Patel told broadcasters after the match.“I thought it was a par score. The way we finished, KL was superb. We thought this was a good score. The bowlers tried hard, but we couldn’t win today.“The way we batted was a big positive. We need to improve our fielding and the bowling in the powerplay.“The wicket got better in the second innings. It was stopping and gripping in the first innings, but not in the second. Once a batter gets set, it becomes easier to bat.”
