NEW DELHI: NEW DELHI: KL Rahul, fresh off becoming a father, has joined his new franchise, Delhi Capitals, after missing out on the season opener against Lucknow Super Giants.
In a recently viral video, the star cricketer was seen sharing a lighthearted moment with the Delhi Capitals squad, where he hilariously mimicked former England captain and DC mentor Kevin Pietersen.
The act had the entire team in splits, with Pietersen himself laughing uncontrollably at Rahul’s antics.

The video has been widely shared on social media, showcasing Rahul’s playful side ahead of Delhi Capitals’ upcoming match against Sunrisers Hyderabad on March 30 in Visakhapatnam.
The wicketkeeper-batsman had missed DC’s season opener against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) due to the birth of his first child.
Rahul and his wife, Bollywood actress Athiya Shetty, welcomed a baby girl on Monday, and the cricketer was granted special leave by the franchise to be with his family.
With personal celebrations behind him, Rahul is now set to rejoin the Delhi Capitals squad and make his debut for the franchise.
The stylish right-hander was acquired for Rs 12 crore in the IPL mega auction after parting ways with LSG, where he served as captain for three seasons.
