The fielder in the deep had a lot of ground to cover and as the PBKS player stepped on the ball to prevent the boundary, it allowed the RCB batters time to comfortably collect the runs even if the boundary count wasn’t ticked.
As per the broadcasters, Kohli ran at speeds of 29kmph, 22kmph, 21kmph and turned at 4kmph in what is a breathtaking display of athleticism by a 36-year-old.
In the first innings, RCB spinners Krunal Pandya and Suyash Sharma bowled stifling spells to restrict PBKS to an under-par 157 for six.
The left-arm spinner Krunal (2/25) and leg-spinner Suyash (2/27) were at their crafty best after RCB opted to field on a pitch that had a hint of slowness.
