Vicky Kaushal’s Chhaava scores second biggest Tuesday beating Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan

Vicky Kaushal’s Chhaava continues its dominance at the box office, now securing the second biggest second Tuesday collection in the history of Hindi cinema. The historical epic raked in an impressive Rs 18 crore on its 12th day, surpassing the second Tuesday earnings of some of Bollywood’s biggest hits, including Shraddha Kapoor’s Stree 2 (Rs 11.75 crore), Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan (Rs 12.9 crore), and Sunny Deol’s Gadar 2 (Rs 12.1 crore). The only film ahead of Chhaava in recent times remains Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2 – The Rule, which collected Rs 18.5 crore in Hindi and Rs 23.35 crore overall.

With this feat, Chhaava has now officially surpassed Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan, making it the second biggest second Tuesday in Hindi cinema. The film’s exceptional performance at the box office has been noteworthy. Within just 10 days, it had already crossed Rs 363.25crore, and with no major releases lined up until early March, Chhaava is poised to comfortably surpass the Rs 400 crore mark in India by the end of the weekend.
