This year has been great for Korean shows with Love Next Door, Lovely Runner and more dominating the popularity charts. Luckily, the K-drama calendar for October 2024 is stacked as well. Spice Up Our Love

The makers of No Gain No Love are gearing up to release the highly-anticipated spin-off for the show, titled Spice Up Our Love. The mini-series is scheduled to focus on the love story between Seo Yeon Seo (Han Ji Hyun) and a dietitian and CEO Kang Ha Joon (Lee Sang Yi). It begins with web-novelist Nam Ja Yeon getting transported into the fictional world of one of her stories. She rebels against the plot to get out of the uncalled-for situation.

My Merry Marriage

My Merry Marriage is scheduled to release in October 2024. It stars Pak Ha Na and Park Sang Nam in leading roles. Pak Han Na plays the role of Maeng Kong Hee, who is a strong-spirited woman and a designer at Jayce Fashion. Park Sang Nam plays Gu Dan Soo, the grandson of the Jayce Fashion chairman. Gu Dan-soo returns to South Korea to fulfill his grandmother’s wishes and reunites with Kong Hee at work.

Family by Choice

A group of friends find their way back to each other during peak adulthood years. The upcoming series stars The Sound of Magic’s Hwang In Youp as Kim San Ha, Bae Hyeon Seong as Kang Hae Joon and Jung Chae Yeon as Yoon Joo Won.

Dongjae, the Good or the Bastard

The OTT series is a spin-off of Stranger that builds the story of prosecutor Seo Dong Jae (Lee Joon Hyuk). While he is labelled as a corrupt prosecutor, his career badly suffers. However, he takes on the case of the murder of a high-school student.

Doubt

Doubt follows the story of a criminal profiler and single father Jang Tae Su (played by Han Suk Kyu). He works on a murder case, eventually realizing his daughter Ha Bin (Chae Won Bin) is involved. While balancing the demands of his work and his devotion to his daughter, Tae Su begins struggling in life.

Jeongnyeon: The Star is Born

The musical drama Jeongnyeon: The Star is Born follows the story of Yoon Jeong Nyeon (Twenty Five Twenty One’s Kim Tae Ri). The main character is an impoverished Pansori singer who sneaks into the luggage compartment of a travelling theatre troupe to get to Seoul.

A Virtuous Business

A Virtuous Business is based on the UK series Brief Encounters, which released in 2016. The story follows four women in the rural village of Geumje in 1992. They form strong bonds and embark on a journey of sexual liberation when they sell adult toys door-to-door.

Love in the Big City

Love in the Big City is an OTT series that has been adapted from a novel of the same name. It follows the friendship between a pair of roommates – a gay man named Go Yeong (Nam Yoon Su), who struggles with getting his mother’s acceptance and a woman named Mi Ae (Lee Soo Kyung). The story begins as after a breakup, Go Yeong follows a stranger on vacation to Thailand.

Hellbound Season Two

October 25, 2024

The story follows a resurrected Park Jung Ja (Kim Shin Rock) and mysterious religious leader Jung Jin Su (Kim Sung Cheol), who were condemned in season 1. The religious factions that formed in the previous season, including New Truth and the Arrowheads must now reconsider their beliefs.
