Triptii Dimri tries the soft girl aesthetic with minimal pink makeup

Dressed in a white dress from Self Cntrd, Triptii Dimri opted for soft, pink makeup for the promotions of her film Bad Newz. Her look comprised a radiant base, soft brown eyeshadow, rosy blush and pink lipstick. The actor wore her hair down, styled in loose waves and accessorised with gold earrings.

Opting for a natural look, makeup artist Nikita Kapoor created a sheer, luminous base for her. She used brown brow pomade to neatly fill in her eyebrows and soft brown eyeshadow over her eyelids. The smudged-out eyeliner paired with mascara intensified and added depth to her gaze. Kapoor added dimension to her face with light cream contouring along the forehead, cheekbones, jawline, and nose. A rose blush, blended from the cheekbones to the temples further brightened her complexion. Dimri completed the look with matte lipstick in a rich rose shade.

To get Triptii Dimri’s look, follow the steps below:

1. Wash your face with a gentle cleanser and apply a moisturiser and sunscreen to prep the skin.
2. Apply a brightening primer all over the face to create a smooth base.
3. Dot foundation in small quantities across the face and blend it with a damp sponge. Use concealer in the under-eye area for an even skin tone.
4. Use a brow pencil and brush the brows, shaping them into a neat arch. Then use a brown brow pomade and fill in any gaps.
5. Use a shade of eyeshadow close to your skin tone and apply it all over your eyelids, including the crease. Then pick a soft shade of brown and brush on over the eyelid.
6. Using a pencil eyeliner, line the top and bottom lash line. Then draw the liner upwards into a subtle cat-eye. Use mascara on the top and bottom lashes to open up the eyes.
7. Pick a cream contour and blend it into the cheekbones, nose bridge and jawline with an angled brush.
8. Use a nude-pink cream blush along your cheekbones, blending it upwards with your brush into the hairline. You can even brush over some shimmery highlighter on the cheekbones.
9. Choose a matte lipstick in a rose shade and apply it on the lips with a brush for a clean finish.
