KURUKSHETRA: Accepting the request made by Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Kurukshetra Lok Sabha candidate Naveen Jindal, Uttar Pradesh chief minister (CM) Yogi Adityanath on Monday addressed BJP’s Vijay Sankalp rally in Kurukshetra on Monday. Yogi sought votes for Jindal, while praising his working style and his struggle for the right to hoist the Indian national flag at homes or other places.
Yogi said Jindal was the first MP to present a private member bill in the Parliament about food safety guarantee and MSP for farmers.
Yogi spoke of development works in the BJP government in the last 10 years in every field besides the welfare schemes for the poor people, under the slogan of ‘Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas’.
“Even after so much of the work done by Prime Minister Narendra Modi Ji led government, if someone leveled allegations against him and spread fear in the name of Pakistan, then I will humbly say that they should go to Pakistan and bed there. On one hand is India, giving free ration to 80 crore people. On the other hand, is Pakistan, starving about 23 crore people, roaming with begging bowls in the entire world. Those who stay in India and speak for Pakistan, should be sent to Pakistan”, said Yogi Adityanath.
Targeting the Aam Aadmi Party, Yogi said, “Their day starts with one lie and ends with another. They have messed up Delhi, which is full of filth and garbage. Look at what they have made of the national capital. They have ruined Punjab. I was in Chandigarh, and was told that gangsters have grown again in Punjab. I said they should give BJP and me one chance, I will hang them all in one place and improve the situation.”
Targeting the INDIA alliance, Yogi said, “All the members of INDI alliance want to grab power through these elections and they do not think of 140 crore Indians or India.
In his address, Yogi Adityanath said, “Kurukshetra’s land has given a message of victory of truth over lie, justice over injustice and dharam over adharam, for the last 5,000 years. I have come to Kurukshetra, to give the same message in support of Naveen Jindal Ji. And the results that are coming on June 4, are also coming to give the message of Satyamev Jayate (Truth alone triumphs).”
Yogi questioned the gathering, “If BJP government was not in power in Centre and state (UP), was the development of Ram Mandir possible? If you go to Ayodhya, you will feel that it is Ayodhya of Lord Ram’s time. We have made it the same by working hard. This was possible, as we have made a better and secure environment.”
“In last 7 years, no riot took place in UP. We have finished all the mafia and criminals. We have kept the safety of daughters and businessmen on priority and for those, who commit crime against them, we have kept the door of hell open for them. With strengthened security, UP has walked on the path of development”, said Yogi.
“It is significant for me to come here to Kurukshetra, as I have come from the holy land of Lord Rama in Ayodhya. And we have ended the wait for 500 years there. So that, I can take the 5,000 years old message of Lord Krishna to Mathura. I will say that now we are making efforts towards Mathura and moving towards that direction. Start will be done from Kurukshetra”, said Yogi Adityanath.
“In last 10 years, we are seeing a changed India and India’s stature has increased at international level. Our borders have become secure. No enemy can infiltrate our borders now. Today, the problem of terrorism and Naxalites has been resolved in the country. Now, terrorist bomb attacks cannot take place like earlier”, said Yogi.
Yogi said, “Today, if even a cracker bursts loudly, Pakistan immediately issues a clarification that it does not have its hand in it. As you know, it is a new India. India has shown its power to the world community through air and surgical strikes that we are in favour of peace. But peace does not come by speaking only but with power.”
In his address, Naveen Jindal thanked Yogi for accepting his request and said that people of Haryana love him. “I have learnt a lot from Yogi Ji, while I was MP with him from 2004-2014. Yogi Ji played an important role in the development of Ayodhya. Yogi Ji, we want to develop Kurukshetra also, as a center of religious and spirituality and we need your guidance for the same”, said Naveen.
Naveen firmly said, “We will make Haryana a developed state by 2035.”
