Prime Video launched its first-ever celebrity chat show, The Rana Daggubati Show, in a grand world premiere at the 55th International Film Festival of India (IFFI) on November 21. The premiere featured the inaugural episode with Nani, Teja Sajja, and Priyanka Arulmohan, captivating an audience of over 250 cinephiles with its fresh, unscripted approach. The series, hosted and executive produced by Rana Daggubati under Spirit Media, is set to premiere globally on Prime Video on November 23, with new episodes releasing every Saturday.
The eight-episode Telugu Original promises a star-studded lineup, including Dulquer Salmaan, Naga Chaitanya Akkineni, S.S. Rajamouli, Ram Gopal Varma, Rishab Shetty, Siddhu Jonnalagadda, Sreeleela, and more. From candid chats to unique activities like car modifications with Naga Chaitanya and ambushing Rajamouli on set, the series offers fans an intimate look into the lives of their favourite stars.
Reflecting on the milestone, Rana shared, “Never imagined The Rana Daggubati Show would be screened in front of such a lovely audience at IFFI. We’ve flipped the format, removing barriers between fans and celebrities. I’m grateful to Prime Video for this partnership and can’t wait for the global audience to enjoy it from November 23.”
