The Princess of Wales has shared the happy news that she has completed her cancer treatment, and is looking forward to returning to public engagements again.
Kate Middleton announced in March that she would be undergoing preventative treatment after being diagnosed with cancer.
In a moving Instagram video in which husband Prince William, children Prince George, Princess Charlotte, Prince Louis and Kate’s parents Carole Middleton and Michael Middleton also appear, Kate explains her relief after having completed her treatment and opens up about her ‘new perspective’ on life.
“The last nine months have been incredibly tough for us as a family. Life as you know it can change in an instant and we have had to find a way to navigate the stormy waters and road unknown,” she wrote. “The cancer journey is complex, scary and unpredictable for everyone, especially those closest to you.”
She added: “This time has above all reminded William and me to reflect and be grateful for the simple yet important things in life, which so many of us often take for granted. Of simply loving and being loved.
