Donald Trump, the 47th US President, is ready for the “big” night. Trump has arrived at the Capitol for the first Congress address ever since his inauguration in January of this year, at 21:00 EST (7:30 am IST). In a post on his social media platform Truth Social, Trump wrote, “Tomorrow night will be big. I will tell it like it is!”
The White House said Trump’s televised speech will focus on “the renewal of the American dream”.
The speech comes after Trump paused military aid to Ukraine and announced 25 per cent tariffs on goods entering the US from Canada and Mexico. The US also raised the previously imposed 10 percent tariff on China to 20 percent.
