Taapsee Pannu channelled the Soorma vibes when she got on field with a hockey stick in her hand. The actress, who is in Paris to attend the Olympics, was seen challenging her husband, badminton coach Mathias Boe in a game of hocket and it appeared that she was giving him a tough competiton. In the photos shared on Instagram, Taapsee played a game of hockey with him while wearing a saree.
In the photos, Taapsee and Mathias held hockey bats and played a game while Taapsee’s sister Shagun Pannu watched in the sides. The photos were shared by Int Hockey Federation with the caption, “From reel to real – perfecting the art of #Hockey. @taapsee and @mathias.boe also leave a special message for team India.” The message was seen in one of the pictures in the post below:
Taapsee revealed she was signing out of Paris after the friendly game. Sharing a few photos from her visit, Taapsee wrote, “What a wonderful bright day it was at Olympics. And what a fun game to watch before leaving from Paris. This has been truly an experience of a lifetime to spend almost a week in Paris watching games. Now heading back to work because my hardwork of almost 2 years is releasing soon, back to back. Back to being Haseen who plays the Khel! Signing out.”
Taapsee was in Paris to support her husband Mathias Boe as he coached the Indian men’s doubles duo, Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty. Taapsee was seen attending one of the matches and cheering team India. Watch the video below:
Following the end of their match, Mathias announced he is retiring from coaching. He shared the news on Instagram, expressing his gratitude to everyone involved in his journey. The post prompted a tongue-in-the-cheek reply from Taapsee. Taking to the comments section, Taapsee wrote, “But also now u r a married man. U need to take a step back. I need to come back home from work everyday to ready dinner and cleaning in order. So chop chop!”
