Stock market today: Nifty50 and BSE Sensex, the Indian equity benchmark indices, opened in red on Friday driven by increased global uncertainties due to Donald Trump’s tariff moves. While Nifty50 went below 25,300, BSE Sensex was down over 250 points. At 9:17 AM, Nifty50 was trading at 25,289.00, down 66 points or 0.26%. BSE Sensex was at 82,922.21, down 268 points or 0.32%.Market movements are expected to be influenced by India-US trade negotiations and company earnings reports.VK Vijayakumar, Chief Investment Strategist, Geojit Investments Limited says, “A significant trend in market performance in H1 2025 is the outperformance of large caps vs the broader market.
