Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani tied the knot in February 2023. The couple recently celebrated their second anniversary and Kiara had dropped the most hilarious post to mark the occasion and display how it started Vs how it’s going now. Meanwhile, they have now announced that they are going to become parents soon.
Amidst the pregnancy announcement, Sidharth has now opened up on his first meeting with Kiara in an interview. He revealed that he actually met Kiara right after she finished shooting for her bold orgasm scene in ‘Lust Stories 2‘. That segment was directed by Karan Johar and Sidharth had gone to meet him. That’s when he also met Kiara. Sidharth said during an interview with Lilly Singh, “That’s (the film) the reason I met her. I’m very grateful for that short film to be made, uh because I met her when they stopped… I was on set. I did go to meet Karan (Johar) at that set, and we (him and Kiara) met, and we met right after that.”
He added, “I didn’t want to be for that, but I knew what she was up to because I’d heard the story from Karan before, but again, it was the intent; the hearts were in the right place. The presentation of it is funny because it sometimes is, and it’s a director’s take, but I think the heart was in the right place. Kudos to her to come into that… I think she was very bold in her choices.”
Sidharth revealed that Kiara is a very family oriented girl and he’s just discovered a completely new aspect after getting married. ““I mean marriage also, for me, in the recent year has really opened up my eyes. In all these years of being by myself in Bombay and then to have her has been a great influence to another outlook towards life, work, family. She’s very family-oriented, and her ethics and morals are in the right place, and that’s something I respect and admire,” said Sidharth.
After Sidharth met Kiara on the sets of ‘Lust Stories 2’, love bloomed further between the couple when they worked together during ‘Shershaah’.
