Shraddha Kapoor has finally addressed the ongoing credit war surrounding the success of Stree 2. In a recent interview, Shraddha acknowledged the collective effort of the entire cast and crew, emphasizing that it was a true team effort behind the film’s box office success. She praised the film’s director, Amar Kaushik, the writers, and the entire crew for staying true to the essence of the franchise.
Speaking at an Indian Express event, Shraddha said, “It’s important not to make a sequel just for the sake of it — you need substance to bring people to theatres and earn genuine appreciation. They stayed true to how a sequel should be made and cracked the story of Stree 2. It was pure cinematic joy.”
The controversy began when Stree 2 broke box office records, leading to debates over who should be credited for the film’s success. Shraddha addressed the issue by emphasizing the importance of collaboration, saying, “Ultimately, the audience decides.” She also expressed her excitement for Stree 3, saying, “When Amar sir told me he had a story for Stree 3, I got very excited.
