Shilpa Shetty and Akshay Kumar set the internet on fire as they recreated the 90s era and grooved to ‘Chura Ke Dil Mera’ at an event recently. Both of them were twinning in white. While Shilpa opted for a white Manish Malhotra saree, Akshay was seen in a white suit. As they reunited for an invite, everyone insisted that they danced together on stage.
Fans still cannot get over this viral video of them dancing and re-creating the magic of the 90s. Meanwhile now, another video of them has gone viral. In this new video from Hindustan Times Style Awards, Shilpa can be heard saying on the mike and clarifying some things before dancing. She says, “Just for warning! Humare kapdo ki tarah, humari neeyat aur humara dil, dono saaf hai…”
Before she could say anything further, Akshay playfully took the mike away from her. This left everyone in splits. The duo then danced as everyone clapped and cheered for them.
Shilpa and Akshay were dating for a while but later they broke up. The actress had said in an interview in 2000 that Akshay was two-timing her. She also added that he eventually left her for Twinkle Khanna and eventually got married to her.
Akshay has never spoken up on his past relationships. Meanwhile, the duo have now left things in the past and share a cordial relationship. The fact that they created this iconic moment on stage have left fans gushing over this on-screen pair and their chemistry. People also couldn’t stop acknowledging the fact that they just don’t seem to have aged at all.
