Shenaz Treasury gets dropped by a brand following the Ranveer Allahbadia's controversy

Influence Shenaz Treasury revealed the unfortunate reality of Allahbadia’s controversial comment affecting the other influencers in the industry. Ranveer Allahbadia caused massive outrage after his vulgar statements on the YouTube reality show, ‘India’s Got Latent,’ and has unknowingly led to consequences that are affecting celebrities, social media influencers, and comedians.
Shenaz disclosed that she lost a marathon brand deal, which was earlier offering equity. However, the brand dropped her from the campaign due to the consequences Allahbadia is facing right now. “ If you say something then someone will come and shut us down. This is a big loss. Brands are being a little wary right now,” she said to Moneycontrol.
Treasury continued by stating that the infelicitous controversy diverted the attention from Nikhil Kamath’s Air Quality podcast, where American billionaire Bryan Johnson left the mid-interview due to poor air quality.
Recently, Apoorva Makhija, one of the leading Instagram influencers, and a guest on the ‘India’s Got Latent’ controversial episode, was removed as an official ambassador of the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) as she was part of the show. While she has received many FIRs against her, many netizens are commenting that she only tried to defend herself.
After the backlash, many brands are hesitant to work with influencers as they don’t want to be in a difficult spot. With stricter hiring and profiling of our experiences, brands are ensuring that their project won’t be abruptly stopped.
For the unversed, Ranveer Allahbadia was the face of leading content creators on YouTube, until he received a massive backlash on his inappropriate ‘Would You Rather?’ question on the trending talent show. While the episode was uploaded on ‘Members Only,’ the clips of the particular statement went viral on social media, leading to mass condemnation.
Allahbadia has been issued a third summons by the Khar Police from Mumbai, asking him to visit at the earliest to record an official statement.
