Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan had all eyes on him as he made a stylish appearance at the wedding reception of Konark Gowariker, son of acclaimed Bollywood filmmaker Ashutosh Gowariker.
The star-studded nuptials, which celebrated the union of Konark with Niyati Kanakia, daughter of businessman Rasesh Babubhai Kanakia, was held over the weekend on March 2. However, photos and videos from the private affair are slowly making their way online.
A new video from the reception shows Shah Rukh arriving in style, while surrounded by his security team. Exuding his signature charm in a sharp suit, the actor was seen greeting guests as he made his way to meet the bride and groom. According to reports, director Ashutosh greeted the superstar on his arrival and engaged in conversation before taking him to meet the newlywed couple.
Photos from the event saw SRK giving a warm hug to the groom and extending his best wishes to the new bride. The actor also posed with the two for a couple of pictures.
Shah Rukh and Ashutosh share a long professional relationship, having collaborated on several films, including the critically acclaimed Swades (2004), Chamatkar (1992), and Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa (1994).
SRK was among the many guests including several prominent figures from the film industry like Aamir Khan, Hrithik Roshan, Abhishek Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan, Anupam Kher, among others. Politicians like Raj Thackeray and Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde were also in attendance.
On the work front, Shah Rukh is currently busy working on his movie ‘King’ which will see him sharing screen space with his daughter Suhana Khan. The film will also star Abhishek Bachchan as the antagonist.
