She is enthusiastic about her new projects, including her debut as a producer with ‘Bangaram’ and the series ‘Rakta Brahmand’. Samantha expressed her love for filming and mentioned keeping her love life private. She welcomed 2025 with optimism and spirituality.

After a year-long break due to her battle with myositis, Samantha Ruth Prabhu made a strong comeback to the film industry. The ‘Citadel’ actress recently shared her zeal to return to filming and stated that it is her first love.
During an interview with News24, the ‘Theri’ actress shared her enthusiasm for upcoming projects. She shared about her debut as a producer in the upcoming film, ‘Bangaram,’ and expressed her excitement about the series ‘Rakta Brahmand,’ which is currently in the production phase.
She also mentioned, “I also need to finish and complete Raj-DK’s series ‘Rakta Brahmand’ and another film as well that will go on floors maybe in two months or so. So yes, it’s a lot of work starting in a month or two.”
She also mentioned her love for filming, stating, “I think I’m done being away from filming. It is my first true love.”
Samantha Ruth Prabhu was last seen in ‘Citadel: Honey Bunny,’ co-starring with Varun Dhawan, directed by Raj & DK.

Speaking about her upcoming project, ‘Rakt Brahmand,’ it is also directed by the director duo of ‘Family Man.’. It is expected to be an action-fantasy series featuring Aditya Roy Kapur, Ali Fazal, and Wamiqa Gabbi.
During the interview, she also shared about her decision to keep her love life private. “Samantha is single. I don’t think that I will ever be discussing my love life ever again. That’s a part of my life that I choose to keep extremely private, and I will not be talking about that again,” she said.

Samantha has been open about her personal life, particularly her health struggles. Her recent social media posts show a sense of positivity and readiness for the year ahead. She welcomed 2025 with a spiritual note, visiting a church and lighting candles.
