The much-anticipated teaser for Salman Khan’s upcoming film ‘Sikandar’ is scheduled for release today, February 27, at 3:33 PM. The announcement was made by production house Nadiadwala Grandson on social media, fueling excitement among fans.
The official social media post read: “The wait is almost over. Set your reminders to see a glimpse of Sikandar tomorrow at 3:33 PM!”
Fans noted the makers’ decision to go with the specific 3.33 pm timing. A fan tweeted, “Can anyone explain what is the reason behind this 3.33 time.. I am not able to digest this timing..Any particular reason.”
This prompted another to explain that director Murgados’ lucky number is 9, hence “3+3+3 = 9.” They also noted that the director opted for a 11.7 am unusual release time for the first teaser which was released on December 26.
The teaser follows the initial glimpse that was unveiled on Khan’s birthday, amping up the anticipation of the film. Sikandar marks Khan’s first collaboration with AR Murugadoss, a filmmaker known for his high-energy action storytelling, adding to the film’s buzz.
Expected to feature thrilling action sequences and a gripping narrative, Sikandar boasts a musical score by Pritam. In addition to Salman Khan, the film stars Rashmika Mandanna in the female lead, alongside supporting performances from Sathyaraj, Kajal Aggarwal, and Prateik Babbar.
Sikandar is slated for an Eid 2025 theatrical release.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Salman was recently seen sharing screen space with Hrithik Roshan in an ad, prompting buzz about the two possibly collaborating on a spy film. Salman is also rumoured to be gearing up to shoot his next film with director Atlee, however, a confirmation on the same is still awaited.
