Salman Khan’s 'Sikandar' advance bookings open internationally; details inside

Excitement for Salman Khan’s upcoming film Sikandar is growing as its release date approaches. Directed by A.R. Murugadoss, the film promises to be an Eid treat for fans. Murugadoss, known for his Bollywood hits like Ghajini with Aamir Khan and Holiday starring Akshay Kumar, is set to bring another action-packed entertainer.
The film’s leading lady is Rashmika Mandanna, who continues to shine with her pan-India success.
After hits like ‘Animal,’ ‘Pushpa 2,’ and ‘Chhaava,’ another big film is on the way, ‘Sikandar.’. Reports suggest the Salman Khan starrer might release on March 30, instead of the usual Friday. This follows the trend of ‘Tiger 3’, which also had a different release schedule. Fans are eagerly waiting for an official confirmation.
Rumors suggest that Sikandar might release on a Sunday due to the pre-Eid factor. Initially, many thought the dates on overseas booking sites were temporary. However, with limited advance bookings now open, the release date is listed as March 30. Several theaters have also started opening slots, making the March 30 release almost certain.
With ‘Tiger 3’ underperforming despite a strong start, expectations are high for Salman Khan’s Sikandar. ‘Tiger 3’ opened with over ₹41 crore nett on a Sunday and crossed ₹140 crore in its first week. Ideally, ‘Sikandar’ should aim to surpass these numbers this Eid.
Unlike ‘Tiger 3’, which benefited from the Spy Universe brand, ‘Sikandar’ marks A.R. Murugadoss’s return to Bollywood after a long gap.
With Salman Khan in the lead and A.R. Murugadoss at the helm, ‘Sikandar’ is set to make a big impact this Eid. The film has a unique release slot and faces little competition, which could boost pre-sales. Fans are now eagerly waiting for an official release date confirmation and the worldwide start of advance bookings.
