NEW DELHI: Hitman Rohit Sharma on Thursday achieved a major milestone, reaching the 11,000-run mark in one-day internationals to become the second-fastest to the feat.
The skipper got to the record during India’s Champions Trophy opener against Bangladesh at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.
Rohit reached the feat in his 261st innings, placing him only behind Virat Kohli, who achieved it in 222 innings. Batting great Sachin Tendulkar did the same in 276 ODI innings.
