Indian cricketer Rishabh Pant and his family have painted the entire town of Mussorie in colours of celebration and joy, as his sister has finally tied the knot with London-based businessman Ankit Chaudhary in a grand ceremony. It was a star-studded affair, which was joined by all the loved ones, and famous cricket personalities. Everyone seemed more than elated, but the joy of a brother can’t be described in words. However, the photos and videos from the wedding festivities are painting a beautiful picture. In one of the videos which is currently going viral on social media, Rishabh Pant is seen dancing his heart out with the newly wed couple.
The video shows, live musical artists performing one of the wedding playlist staple songs – ‘Dulhe Ka Sehra,’ and the couple Sakshi Pant and Ankit Chaudhary grooving on the same. They are joined by Rishabh Pant, who puts his arms around the couple, appreciates the artists for their performance, but as he turns to leave, his brother-in-law Ankit stops him. He nudges him a little to enjoy and groove on the song with them, and that nudge was all that Rishabh needed, and he starts moving to the tunes.
Watch the video here:
The song ‘Dullhe Ka Sehra’ is from the movie ‘Dhadkan,’ starring Akshay Kumar, Shilpa Shetty and Suniel Shetty. The movie was released in 2000. However, the song was composed in 1997 by Nadeem Sharvan. It was sung by the legendary Pakistani singer Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan. The song is one of the vidai special tracks which has been moving people for more than two decades.
Besides this special track, various other songs made a special appearance at Rishabh Pant’s sister Sakshi Pant’s wedding festivities. The trio of Dhoni, Raina and Pant was seen dancing on the Sufi classic ‘Duma Dum Mast Qalandar.’ Then, there is another video where Pant is seen singing ‘Tu Jaane Na’ with Stebin Ben. And if you think the list ends here, you are in for a treat. Suresh Raina also sang at the sangeet. He joined Stebin on the floor as he performed ‘Channa Mereya.’ The videos of the same are doing rounds on social media and engaging everyone.
