On June 4, RiRi took to Instagram to announce that her new hair care line would be available to buy on June 13th.

She captioned the post: “A new family is moving in! @fentyhair is pullin’ up and it’s time to finally have the hair experience you’ve been waiting for. You know how much switching my hair up matters to me. I’ve had almost every texture, colour, length, from weaves to braids to natural – so I am launching a flexible line of products for not only every hair want, but every single product is designed to strengthen and repair all types of hair, which is what we truly need! It’s time to play and get stronger by the style.”
True to her word about “switching up” her hair, the singer looked stunning at the Rihanna x Fenty Hair launch in Los Angeles, where she made the rare move to ditch her long honey strands in order to reveal her natural hair.
Worn short, her caramel-coloured curls made a highlight of her exaggerated black eyeliner and brick red lip. She paired the look with a burgundy calf-length dress with thin spaghetti straps and matching oversized leather jacket.
