Ranbir Kapoor takes a playful dig at Aamir Khan after being mistaken for Ranveer Singh, saying, ‘Satiya gaye hain'

Bollywood stars Aamir Khan and Ranbir Kapoor, along with Jackie Shroff, Arbaaz Khan, and prominent Indian cricketers like Rohit Sharma, Rishabh Pant, Hardik Pandya, and Jasprit Bumrah, engaged in a playful exchange where they argued about fame, stardom, and ego as they joined hands for a commercial.

In a popular fantasy sports app commercial, Aamir Khan is seen chatting with Rohit Sharma before being interrupted by Rishabh Pant, who wishes to take a photo. To Aamir’s surprise, Rishabh wants a picture with Ranbir Kapoor instead. Aamir introduces Ranbir to Rishabh but mistakenly calls him ‘Ranbir Singh.’ Rohit promptly corrects Aamir, reminding him of Ranbir’s correct surname. Aamir nonchalantly responds, “It’s the same thing; both of them are handsome guys.” This casual mix-up irks Ranbir, who expresses his annoyance to Hardik Pandya, stating, “Aise kaise Kapoor ko Singh bol diya? Main unko Salman bulaaun toh?” (How did he call Kapoor ‘Singh’? What if I call him Salman? Aamir, maintaining his playful demeanor, retorts, “You can call me Salman, just not Arbaaz Khan.”

The banter escalates as Ranbir, visibly irritated, comments on Aamir’s age, saying, “60 ke ho gaye hai, satiya gaye hain. Retire hone bolo unko” (He has gone crazy since he turned 60. Tell him to retire. He further tells Jackie Shroff, “Jalte hain mujhse, kyunki voh sirf Khan hai aur main khandaan hoon” (He is jealous of me because he is only a Khan, and I am a Khandaan). Aamir counters this by criticizing the younger generation’s ego, stating, “Today’s youngsters, their ego is bigger than their box office collection.” Ranbir, embodying his assertive persona, responds loudly, “I can hear; I am not deaf.” Aamir then advises Ranbir to show respect to his seniors. This whole playful chaos concludes with both actors selecting their preferred cricketers for their team.
Fans praised this interaction by saying, “Giving me ‘Andaz Apna Apna’ feels.”, “All legends in one frame”. A user also hilarious noted Jackie Shroff’s reply to Ranbir saying “Bidu tissue maga tha, issues kaiko pakdarela he rey”. Beyond the humor and this fun banter, both Aamir Khan and Ranbir Kapoor have significant projects lined up. Aamir is set to star in ‘Sitaare Zameen Par’ alongside Genelia. Ranbir Kapoor, on the other hand, has an array of high-profile projects. He is slated to play Lord Ram in Nitesh Tiwari’s ‘Ramayana: Part 1.’. Additionally, Ranbir will reunite with director Sanjay Leela Bhansali for ‘Love & War,’ a period drama also starring Vicky Kaushal and Alia Bhatt.
