NEW DELHI: Rajasthan Royals (RR) added a creative twist to their social media game by sharing a stunning Ghibli-style AI-generated image of Wanindu Hasaranga’s fiery celebration after dismissing Vijay Shankar in the IPL 2025 clash.
The artwork captured Hasaranga mid-celebration, paying homage to the famous ‘Jhukega Nahi’ pose from the movie Pushpa.
The moment came in the middle overs when Hasaranga, known for his deceptive spin, delivered a beauty to send Shankar packing.
The Sri Lankan star bowled a well-disguised googly, drawing Shankar forward, only for the ball to sneak past his bat and crash into the stumps.
With RR looking to shift the momentum, Hasaranga’s breakthrough was a crucial turning point.
Following the dismissal, the dynamic spinner pulled off the now-iconic ‘Jhukega Nahi’ celebration, a pose popularized by Pushpa: The Rise. The Royals’ media team, known for their creative social media presence, turned this moment into an artistic masterpiece, reimagining it in the whimsical animation style of Studio Ghibli.

The AI-generated artwork quickly went viral, earning praise from fans for its unique blend of sports and pop culture.
Earlier, RR had posted a competitive total of 182/9, thanks to Nitish Rana’s explosive 81 off 36 balls. Despite a solid start, Rajasthan lost wickets at regular intervals, with CSK’s disciplined bowling attack keeping them in check.
Matheesha Pathirana, Noor Ahmad, and Khaleel Ahmed picked up two wickets each, while Ravindra Jadeja and Ravichandran Ashwin chipped in as well.
With 183 runs needed for victory, Chennai Super Kings had a challenging chase ahead. But for the moment, it was Hasaranga’s magic — and Rajasthan Royals’ artistic tribute — that stole the spotlight.
