Hand-painted earrings- In Pushkar, the jewellery market is thriving– be it high-quality silver trinkets with beautiful details or hand-painted jewellery that can add a rustic charm to your attire. The hand-painted earrings, a speciality of both Pushkar and Ajmer, are very popular among tourists.

Price- Starts from Rs. 30 (negotiable)

 

Handicrafts- From mud and clay sculptures to small deities in red, you can pick up many decorative items on your trip to Pushkar. Earthen pots, windchimes, paintings by local artists, lamps, and wall hangings are some of the things that you can look for. Being a place of pilgrimage, objects for religious practices like decorative pieces and paintings of deities, pottery with symbols and animal figurines are more popular among tourists.

Incense sticks and dhoop- As soon as you step out of the world’s only well-known Brahma temple, you will spot throngs of vendors selling a variety of incense sticks and dhoop sticks. Sandalwood, jasmine, and of course, rose are some popular scents among buyers.

Price- Starts from Rs 60-80 for a regular carton (fixed)

 

Textiles and fabrics- Pushkar is a hub for gorgeous apparel, all thanks to its prolific textile market. Take your pick between leather goods, camel covers, beautiful block prints, and tie-dye fabrics in brilliant colours. You will be spoilt for choice with various embroidered tote bags made of jute and cotton. Lamp shades, bandhani sarees, and woven silk and cotton dupattas fringe the town streets, adorning racks and racks in the shops.
