Prabhas starrer high action thriller, the 2012 film ‘Rebel,’ which marked a big move in his career has now made its way into the digital space.
The movie is now available to stream on Amazon Prime Video.
‘Rebel’ tells the story of Rishi, a carefree young man whose life turns around into a vengeful figure after his parents are brutally murdered. The film follows Rishi’s quest to find the killers, leading him to discover that his own uncle is involved in the crime. This plot twist leads to a series of intense action sequences.
The film features Prabhas alongside Tamannaah Bhatia. It also stars Krishnam Raju, Deeksha Seth, Mukesh Rishi, Pradeep Rawat, and Ali. Directed by actor-choreographer Raghava Lawrence, ‘Rebel’ was praised for its action sequences and Lawrence’s dual role as director and composer.
‘Rebel’ was originally released in theatres on September 28, 2012, and its availability on OTT makes it easier for the fans to relive Prabhas’s early days roles.
Meanwhile, Prabhas continues to work on new projects, including the horror-comedy ‘The Raja Saab,’ directed by Maruthi. Prabhas is expected to play a dual role in the film. The plot revolves around a young man who sets his eyes on his ancestral property to ease a financial crunch. However, he soon discovers that the mansion is haunted by the vengeful spirit of Raja Saab.

The movie features Nidhhi Agerwal, Malavika Mohanan, and Riddhi Kumar as the leading ladies, alongside Sanjay Dutt in a key role.
He is also working on the period drama rumoured to be titled, ‘Fauji,’ with ‘Sita Raman’ fame Hanu Raghavapudi in the director’s chair. He will also seen in the intense cop drama ‘Spirit,’ with Sandeep Reddy Vanga.

Recently he has also been reportedly in talks with ‘HanuMan’ director Prasanth Varma.
Later, Prabhas has two big sequels in his pipeline – ‘Kalki 2898 AD 2’ and ‘Salaar Part 2: Shouryanga Parvam’.
