NEW DELHI: After missing the manufacturing deadline, Reliance New Energy Battery and ACC Energy Storage, which are beneficiaries of the production linked incentive scheme for advanced battery manufacturing, have told the Centre that their facilities would go on stream in the next six months, while Ola Cell Technology the biggest among them is looking to commence full-scale manufacturing by July.
While Ola Cell Technology, a subsidiary of Ola Electric, had bagged the award for 20 GWh capacity, Rajesh Exports arm ACC Energy Storage and Mukesh Ambani’s Reliance New Energy were awarded incentives for 5 GWh under what is called the National Programme on Advanced Chemistry Cell.
