Paparazzi tease Udit Narayan at success bash of 'The Roshans': 'Ek kiss ho jaye...'

Udit Narayan faced backlash after a video of him kissing female fans during a live show went viral. Despite calling it a gesture of unconditional love for his fans, netizens were upset. Recently, paparazzi also took a dig at the singer over the controversy.
Udit Narayan attended the success party of the documentary series The Roshans. While posing for photos, the paparazzi joked with him, asking for a kiss, saying, “Sir, ek kiss hojaye.” The singer laughed it off and walked away.

As soon as the video was shared on Reddit, netizens quickly joined the discussion to share their opinions. While one user wrote, ‘”It’s all fun and games till Udit grabs the Pap and fulfils his wish’, another one added, ‘That lady looked worried that he might just suddenly attack her with a kiss on his way in!’

In February 2025, a video surfaced online showing Udit Narayan interacting with female fans during his performance of Tip Tip Barsa Paani. While taking selfies with fans near the stage, one woman kissed him on the cheek. The situation escalated when Udit returned the gesture with a kiss on her lips.
In an interview with HT City, Udit Narayan addressed the backlash, stating that fans can be very passionate, but he is not like that. He described himself as a decent person and felt there was no need to make a big deal out of the incident.
